The online story Run rabbit run! is based on the Irwin District Museum exhibition, on display in the Old Police Station, Dongara, Western Australia. The Museum is run by the Irwin District Historical Society (IDHS), which was founded in 1964 and is dedicated to preserving the history of the Irwin District.

Explore objects from the IDHS relating to the Run rabbit run exhibition. Some of the objects are related to rabbit control methods and include fumigators, bait distributors, a trapper's payment invoice for rabbit skins and wire rabbit skin stretchers. There are also domestic objects such as a meat safe and a cook-book with tasty rabbit recipes.
